Dialing In: Quick Setup Guide

How to use (quick guide)
1. Dose: 18–20g.
2. Distribute & tamp: Distribution tool → level → tamp evenly.
3. Pull the shot: Aim for a 1:2 ratio (e.g., 18g in → 36g out) in ~25–30 sec, adjusting grind as needed.

The portafilter is made with a premium wooden handle and rust-resistant premium 304 stainless steel. The bottomless handle is easy to clean and has no dead angles for cleaning. Basket is also included.

 

Why choose a bottomless portafilter?

The bottomless design allows for observation of the flow column, rate and espresso extraction colour, leading to far superior consistency.

A bottomless portafilter will also yield 50% more crema due to the lack of contact with any other surfaces, leaving your beautiful espresso bubbles in their original form all in tact. More crema = more taste.
