The Almond Delonghi La Specialista bottomless portafilter is the perfect addition to your home barista station. This portafilter is 51mm and has 3 ears.

The portafilter is made with a premium wooden handle and rust-resistant premium 304 stainless steel. The bottomless handle is easy to clean and has no dead angles for cleaning. Basket is also included.
Why choose a bottomless portafilter?
The bottomless design allows for observation of the flow column, rate and espresso extraction colour, leading to far superior consistency.
A bottomless portafilter will also yield 50% more crema due to the lack of contact with any other surfaces, leaving your beautiful espresso bubbles in their original form all in tact. More crema = more taste.
What coffee machines will this work on?
This portafilter is to be used with the Delonghi La Specialista range - EC9335/9665/9155/9355. It is also the correct model for the EC950M Dedica Maestro, EC885, EC685.
Note, it will not work with the other Delonghi Dedica range, SMEG or EUPA coffee machines.

I got this bottomless portafilter for my birthday from my wife, and it’s honestly a game changer. My original La Specialista setup just wasn’t giving me enough coffee grind, but this thing completely transformed the experience.
When you dial in the grind right, the pour is beautiful, smooth, rich, and with the best crema I’ve ever had at home. The almond solid wood handle feels amazing in the hand, super smooth and really well finished. It also looks so classy that making coffee now feels like more of an experience than just a routine.

I was hesitant buying a bottomless portafilter for my delonghi dedicated Arte ec885 because you never know if it will fit properly or if the quality is high, however I'm glad I got mine from coffee nerd. Customer service answered all my questions quickly and helped me choose the right portafilter for my coffee machine. Plus the delivery was sooner than I expected :) Worth it!
P.s for those who don't want their coffee passing through all that plastic - get a bottomless portafilter! It helps you tamp better and also it's healthier!
